Organization background
HELP LIBERIA GROW was founded by Randall M. Dorley since 2005 in Guinea, but call Bon Berger for the purpose of formulating this Not-for-Profit Corporation to lobby with Philanthropists and raise funds for and on behalf of the targeted beneficiaries who are in destitute conditions. She is register and Accredited NGO, her head office is at Civil Compound Community, Gbarnga City, Bong County, Liberia, West Africa.
Her current function staffs are: Executive Director, Field Supervisor, finance Controller, Regional Supervisors, Consultants, 28 Forestry Communities Volunteer monitors, Administrative Assistant, and M&E officer. Her assets are one Toyota T-100 Pick-up, two yamaha motorbikes, one Grand Cherokee Jeep Laredo, 2 Laptop and 1.78 lots of land where we building the new head Office. In 2006 we received grant of $178. 000 USD from donor called IIZ/DVV for training of 600 adolescent girls for 18 months 2006 – 2007 who had to leave school due to pregnancy, poverty, war and some domestic reasons. Indeed, Liberian Refugees and Guinean girls who become pregnancy drop out of school, fall behind academically, usually never return, and become trapped in a cycle of poverty with some skills training in N’erekore, Guinea. Our total beneficiaries were 600 adolescent girls in 30 centers with 30 female trainers in Hair Dressing, Tailoring and Embroidery. Additionally 26 Literacy rotational Centers Teachers. UNHCR, ARC and Bon Berger was piloting an innovative approach in refugee’s camps and cities that connects literate and numerate Liberian and Guinean women with these at-risk girls to serve as Tutor-Mentors.
The NGO is Not –For- profit Organzation and it was founded on behalf of destitute people. It is the policy of HELP LIBERIA GROW not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic background, ancestry, age, religion, creed, disability, sex and gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under applicable state or local law. The NGO make business with a number of government employee, private sectors and any peace loving citizen in the country.
